What does document automation with TX Text Control cost?
The entry points are fixed prices: TX Compass 499.00 €, TX Jump Start from 2,999.00 €, TX Roadmap from 3,999.00 € including PoC (all net plus VAT, the Compass is fully credited toward the Roadmap). The delivery runs in stages with an effort range per stage. On top of that come the manufacturer’s TX license costs, on which we advise you neutrally.
What is TX Text Control anyway?
An established .NET component from Text Control GmbH for document processing: edit Word-compatible templates, generate documents server-side, export PDF, sign digitally. It is built into your own software and turns it into the document hub.
We already have the license, but we are not making progress.
A common case, and that is exactly what the TX Jump Start is for: workshop, training and joint implementation, until your first document template runs in production. In the process your team learns everything it needs for the next templates.
Does this really work without Microsoft Office on the server?
Yes, that is one of the most important reasons for TX Text Control. Documents are created entirely server-side in .NET, without an Office installation. That is faster, stable under load and clean in terms of licensing, because Microsoft explicitly does not support Office automation on servers.
Can our business departments really maintain templates themselves?
Yes. TX Text Control comes with a Word-like editor that we integrate into your software. Business users then edit mail merge fields, text blocks and formatting themselves, without a developer ticket.
Can you replace our old Word automation?
Yes, that is a classic: we replace existing Word or Office interop solutions with server-side TX processing, usually including taking over the existing templates. The TX Roadmap delivers the target architecture and PoC for that.
